About Me

Hi, I'm Beth — a multimedia artist based in Saskatchewan, Canada, and the heart behind Beth Makes Art. I live on a farm with my husband, son, dog and a few cats.
My love affair with printmaking started over ten years ago in a university class, where I fell in love with the slow, intentional process of carving and pressing ink to paper. Life took me in other directions for a while, but recently I found my way back to printmaking — and I haven't looked back since.
I specialize in relief and reduction prints inspired by nature and everyday moments that surround me. Each print is made by hand, one layer at a time, which means every piece carries a little bit of that process with it.
Thank you so much for being here and supporting handmade art. It truly means the world.
